Requirements for Issuance of New Library Cards

Local applicants must be Town of Moriah residents, with a government issued photo ID, AND utility bill, or piece of mail showing proof of current, permanent address. If the card is to be issued to a child, then the parent or guardian of record must provide valid identification that complies with the requirements above.
Campers and visitors with moorings at local marinas must provide documentation of their paid agreements with those facilities. In addition, they must provide a valid driver’s license from their home area.
Only one card may be issued per person. If a patron is already in the system in another town, that account will be removed or amended to reflect their current town of residence.
Each borrower/household will be limited to checking out four items at a time.
